Steps to Surgery

From Consultation to Surgery: Step-by-Step Instructions for Patients

1. Initial Consultation
   Your consultation can take place either in-person at our office or virtually via Zoom. If using Zoom, please test your internet connection and audio/video settings in advance to ensure a smooth appointment.

2. Medical Clearance and Preoperative Testing
   If you decide to proceed with surgery, medical clearance may be required based on your current health condition. This could include an evaluation by your primary care provider and, in some cases, a moderate exercise tolerance test to ensure you are physically fit for surgery. A routine preoperative blood test is also necessary. If any concerns arise, further preoperative optimization may be needed before surgery.

3. Garment Fitting and Surgery Scheduling
   Once cleared, you will schedule your garment fitting and select a surgery date. A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to reserve your chosen date.

4. Day of Surgery

   • Please arrive on time for your procedure. Punctuality ensures a smooth and safe experience for you and our surgical team.
   • Payment Information: The remaining balance must be paid in full on the day of surgery. We accept the following payment methods:
     • Cash
     • Debit Card
     • Credit Card
     • CareCredit
     • Cashier’s Check
   • If you plan to use a debit or credit card, please check with your bank ahead of time to ensure there are no spending limits that could delay your payment on the day of surgery.
