BBL surgery is buttock enhancement with fat transfer. Lifting the butt typically refers to adding volume to the butt. Two common butt lift procedures are butt lift with fat transfer and butt lift with implants. To increase buttock volume through fat transfer, the fat needs to be removed from other parts of the body. The fat is then filtered and then implanted into the buttock. This is what is known as a Brazilian Butt Lift or BBL surgery.
